The Brief:
Sportbilia, a London-based company specialising in online auctions for sports memorabilia and collectibles, engaged Design Industries to undertake the graphic design and web development of its new auction website.The project included the design of a logo and corporate branding that would make Sportbilia stand out in the memorabilia market.
The challenge was to take a start-up online business from zero through the web design and web development process to create a website worthy of the business owner and his clients.
The Delivery
Melbourne-based Design Industries clearly proved that it was up to the challenge. We delivered not only the fully branded website, but also a complex backend system that included auction and fixed-based buying and selling. Sportbilia also received a dynamic moderator system, forum, e-newsletter campaign management, and a range of other features to make the company a leader in the online auction market.
The final website exceeded everyone’s expectations and the underlying customised infrastructure clearly met all of the project requirements.
