The Brief:
Talk Down Under needed a custom web application that would serve as its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and be fully integrated with a completely automated billing platform integrating data supplied by Optus. The application needed to streamline the company’s telecommunication sales push and administrative requirements.Given the nature of the individual products and the complex billing associated with a major Australian Tier 1 telecommunication company, the system needed to accommodate many unique customer requirements. Design Industries was eager to tackle this highly complex project involving CRM custom development and a SecurePay payment gateway.
The Delivery
Through an extensive consultative planning process, Melbourne based Design Industries and its IT solutions partner company, RTG, planned and delivered a state-of-the-art, custom web application for CRM custom development. The new system brings together exceptional customer relationship management and a completely automated real-time business system, permitting future growth for Talk Down Under.
The new system also reduces the time and labour needed by automatically generating invoices for the company’s extensive and complex products.
The new CRM custom billing system is fully integrated with billing data feeds from Optus, a leading Australian telecommunications company, and it exports data to the client’s accounting software. In addition, integration with a SecurePay payment gateway provides flexibility payment options for customers who want to pay their bills online through the Talk Down Under website.
The intranet allows Talk Down Under employees to view all invoices and make additions, changes, and deletions as needed. The site is secure and flexible, and clearly meets the company’s needs – not only now, but also in the foreseeable future.
This was a groundbreaking project involving the creation of a custom web application, CRM custom billing system, which is integrated with Optus data feeds and is also integrated with a SecurePay payment gateway.
