Having been on the other end of the spectrum as a client Joe found himself with the opportunity to take the blue pill or the red pill.
“You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
As you can tell Joe took the red pill and dived right in to a new chapter in his life.
With his experience as an e-commerce customer, client and avid “techi”, Joe always wanted to discover what it was like on the other side. Entering into the ‘Matrix’ – a world of new developments, software and technologies.
Having been assigned DI’s Digital Software Implementer / Tester / Project Lead Joe’s daily routine varies. “Everyday day can be different, unexpected and sometimes challenging – this is what I love the most.”
With his previous experience working within the buying and e-commerce fields he is accustomed to what the customer requires. Having used applications such as Magento for e-commerce stores, to working through SEO/SEM campaigns with Google Adwords and Analytics Joe has brought what he has learnt and applies this to assist existing and future clients.
Being across an array of clients from small business to large national corporations Joe utilises the the Atlassian Stack to manage his workload. Utilising his Personal Action Plan and Project Plans, sorting through his JIRA tasks to Confluence pages helps Joe tremendously to get through the day. Not only does Joe assist with external clients but also looks after Design Industrie’s internal projects. From their Google applications, Social Media to this very own site; Joe’s desire for learning new things and creativity see’s him always looking for the next big thing to share on social or write up on blog posts.
Joe’s ‘happy go lucky’ way of life makes him a pleasure to work with in the office and a dedicated and caring uncle to 6 nephews and 2 nieces. Being the youngest of four boys himself Joe loves spending time with the family when not out with friends.
Of course everyone would love to have an infinite amount of superhero powers but if Joe could choose just one it would be teleportation. Having the ability to travel wherever, whenever; skipping the local Melbourne traffic or avoiding the queues at the airport.
